A no-show is a booked meeting the prospect skips.
A no-show is a booked sales meeting where the prospect does not join and did not reschedule ahead of time.
How we use it.
No-shows are on us, not your team. A prospect who never joins fails rule four of our qualified definition, so the meeting does not count toward the guarantee and we keep working to replace it.
One good-faith reschedule is not a no-show under our rules. A second move without a meeting fails the rule, because by then the booking is a calendar placeholder rather than a conversation.
Who pays for an empty slot (fictional)
A fictional founder blocks out a demo slot and prepares a custom deck.
The prospect does not join and does not answer the follow-up.
With a vendor paid per booked meeting, the founder pays for the slot anyway.
Under our rules the meeting does not count toward the guarantee.
Common mistakes
- Paying for meetings when they are booked rather than after they happen.
- Booking far out with no reminder or confirmation call.
- Blaming the prospect when the real cause is a time they never clearly agreed to.
