Inventory by variant. The real interface, filled with invented demo data.

By hand, and with Keystone OS.

By hand today

Each shop keeps its own sheet, or its own register, and there is no shared view. A customer asks for the jacket in medium, and staff message the other shop, wait for a reply, then message again to ask someone to hold it.

Moving stock between shops means a box and a handwritten list. Both sheets get updated later by different people, and the figures drift apart until the next full stocktake.

With Keystone OS

Each product shows its variants and the units at each branch and online, with total stock value at cost across the business. Items below their own minimum are marked low, and items that are out at one branch but held at another are counted separately, so a missed sale has an obvious fix.

Select the rows you want to move and send them to another branch as one transfer. Each row is locked while it travels, so a sale cannot take stock that is already leaving, and the move shows up in the stock ledger at both ends.

How it runs.

  1. Filter by branch

Look at all branches together or one at a time, including the online channel.

  2. Read the flags

Low means below the item's minimum. Out somewhere means another branch still holds it.

  3. Select a batch

Tick the products to move. The bar shows how many are selected and where they are going.

  4. Transfer

Send the batch in one transfer. Rows stay locked until it lands.

Where it stops.

It does not

  • Does not count the shelf for you; that happens in the blind stock count.
  • Does not decide what to buy; reorder prompts suggest a quantity and a person orders.
