Point of sale. The real interface, filled with invented demo data.

By hand, and with Keystone OS.

By hand today

A customer pays part by card and part by bank transfer. The cashier rings the whole amount as card, writes the transfer on a sticky note, and glances at the customer's banking app as proof. Nobody keeps that screen.

At close, the card total is out by the transfer and the bank shows a deposit nobody can match to a sale. Checking stock means walking to the shelf or messaging the other branch to ask whether they have the size.

With Keystone OS

The cashier searches or scans a barcode, and each product tile shows what is on hand at this branch, flags items that are low or out, and marks the ones that come in several sizes. The cart applies the member discount and shows the total.

Payment is a list, not a single field. Add the card amount with its terminal authorization, add the transfer with its reference and a photo of the proof, and the screen shows when the payments balance the total. Close of day already knows what each wallet should hold.

How it runs.

  1. Find the product

Search by name, filter by category or scan the barcode. Branch stock shows on the tile before it goes in the cart.

  2. Build the cart

Pick the variant, set the quantity and let the member discount apply.

  3. Split the payment

Add each payment with its method and reference, and attach the proof photo where a wallet needs it.

  4. Complete the order

Once the payments balance, complete it. Stock leaves the branch and each payment posts to its wallet.

Where it stops.

It does not

  • Does not process the card; your existing terminal does, and its authorization code is kept on the sale.
  • Does not verify a bank transfer for you; it keeps the reference and the proof photo so someone can check.
