How many calls and emails a meeting target takes.
Pick a monthly meeting target. The planner scales it by one team's real record: 360 meetings from 14,000 calls and 40,000 emails, 85% of them qualified.
The working.
Formula
Calls per meeting: record calls divided by record meetings.
Emails per meeting: record emails divided by record meetings.
Monthly calls: target meetings times calls per meeting. Monthly emails: target meetings times emails per meeting.
Expected qualified demos: target meetings times the qualified share.
Where the defaults come from
- Target meetings per month: 10, the low end of our guarantee.
- Calls: 14,000, from our team's outbound record for a B2B sales team across two back-to-back contracts.
- Emails: 40,000, from the same record.
- Meetings booked: 360, from the same record, over 18 months.
- Qualified share: 85%, because 306 of those 360 meetings were qualified demos.
Reading the result.
This is one team's record across two contracts, not a benchmark. Your market, list, offer and message will move every ratio, so replace the rates once you have a month or two of your own.
The record mixes channels and does not say which meetings came from a call and which from an email. The planner scales both together; dropping one channel does not mean the other alone would book the same.
LinkedIn is part of how we work but is not counted in the record, so it is not in the plan.
Expected qualified demos sit below your meeting target on purpose. If you need a set number of qualified demos, raise the target until the qualified line reads that number.
Volume is the input, not the goal. At our 15% connect rate on cold calls, most dials reach nobody, and message quality decides what the calls that connect are worth.
Questions buyers ask.
Does the planner work for my industry?
As arithmetic, yes. The default ratios come from one B2B sales team's record, so treat them as a starting point and swap in your own once you have real numbers.
Is more volume the way to more meetings?
Only up to what your domains and your list can carry. Sending past what your sender accounts are warmed for hurts deliverability, which lowers every rate in this plan. We cap volume in favor of quality.
